How Matt works
Warm, fun, and full of things that work.
Matt has spent a lifetime asking how to be truly happy, and he shares what he’s found in a way people remember: stories, a few laughs, and simple tools like the Happiness Barometer and the Groovy Train.
His belief is simple: happiness isn’t just a feeling, it’s a skill. And anyone can get better at it.
“Every time Matt has spoken to our people, everyone has been uplifted. He has a uniquely accessible approach to mental fitness that appeals to all walks of life.”
“One of the best speakers we’ve had at Fruit Towers. A true breath of fresh air.”
“Insightful yet incredibly practical. If you want to fire up the happiness of your teams, look no further.”
How it started
A turning point at 12.
As a boy, Matt was helped back to full strength by a doctor who looked at the whole person, not just the symptoms. It showed him how much the way we think and feel matters, and he knew what he wanted to do with his life.
He qualified at 23, and has been helping people ever since. Along the way he went looking for the simplest, most practical answers to feeling good, from counsellors and psychologists to teachers on mountaintops, kept what worked, and turned it into the tools he teaches today.
