Why organisations choose it
Keep your people
Ask every team, anonymously, whether they can see themselves working here a year from now. Spot the slide early, and act before people leave.
Lift every team
One shared language, the Happiness Barometer, and Matt’s tools in every huddle. Leaders reply to their team each week, so people see something happen.
Show the difference
Before and after for every workshop, a trend for every team, and a season report for your board, with your own turnover and sickness figures alongside.
Why it works for teams
Feel good together. Lead better. Keep your people.
When a whole team goes through it together, the workshop becomes team building. The weekly check-in then tells leaders how the team is really feeling, and what they can do about it.
It builds the team
Teams share what lifts them, laugh together, and leave with one shared language: “Where are you on the Barometer?”
Leaders see how the team feels
Every week, the team’s anonymous Barometer and their answers to questions like “which niggle would make next week easier?”
Leaders know what to do
A suggested technique for the next huddle, a one-line reply so the team sees something happen, and a nudge to time big changes well.
Feeling good drives the work
How we feel shapes the quality of our thinking, our resilience, how we deal with stress, and our clarity and energy.
From the top of the Barometer, people…
decide better
Clear-headed, not overwhelmed.
get more done
Motivated, focused and present.
work together
More patient, more connected.
stay
“It wasn’t the job, I was just feeling rubbish.”

Questions leaders ask
Is it really anonymous?
Yes. Check-in answers are stored with the team and the week only, never with a name, email or exact time. Results only show once the week has closed and 10 or more people have answered. Personal reflections never leave the person’s phone.
How much time does it take staff?
The workshop is three hours. After that, the weekly check-in takes under three minutes, by email or on their phone.
Can it run online?
Yes. Matt runs the workshop live on Zoom, moving everyone through the workbook page by page together.
What will our information governance team need?
We’ll share how the data is stored, who sees what and how long it’s kept, so they can review it before your pilot.
Does it work for shift workers?
The check-in arrives on the day and time the team chooses and stays open all week, so people answer whenever suits their shift.
